Antique reflectors, and the Star Wars shirt is because my bikes have demanded I look cooler on them.

Found a great deal on a lightly used Prologo saddle on eBay. Been wanting to try a saddle with a cutout, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this one feels.

I purchased entry into a gravel race.
Some really badass racers are signed up - Dirty Kanza winners and so forth.
Looks like I'll be racing myself, mostly. That's OK.
Hopefully I can put the hurt on a few younger guys for the sake of pride.

I ordered the one sided fixed.
Mr. Mack is in Poland and Paypal flagged the purchase as suspicious.

I can imagine what the manufacturing process would be like. Wonder if these are made from round aluminum stock and turned down on a lathe? Probably the middle is drilled for the skewer next, then more machining for the threads. Interesting to think about how it would be done.
Wondering about the bearings too, are they super smooth rolling? Guessing you researched this kind of stuff already
Looking forward to Richmond. Got the Kilo all rigged up to the roof rack, and some routes planned out already. Hopefully do a lactate threshold test at some point too.

That is one of them there carbon fibered bars, probably gonna asplode
To go on my new (to me) Proteus frame. Tange Prestige tubing and Campanoglio dropouts. Building it as a 8 speed with 600 Tricolor with a more modern Dura-Ace FD and Ultegra Chainwheel. Also bought a Factory Five Titan stem so I could run my favored Zipp Service Course SL-70 Ergo bars. Should be a fun build.
I gotta stop buying stuff and building bikes or sell something quick.

Agreed. The sotto voce models are the only way to go. Because putting a bold billboard on your bike with the $150 headset manufacturer’s name like 10 times... who you trying to impress? Also, please don’t install them upside down. That just looks silly.

The frame the headset is on was very well made and made by Proteus Bicycles but is very utilitarian. The logo is more of a military style stencil font and it is not a super flashy paint job. I could make it crazy but it doesn't need that it needs class and sophistication to fit the Prestige of the tubing ; )

Got some NOS Suntour Cyclone parts for my red frame Bianchi. Some of the parts have a bit of shop wear but that's fine for me.
Suntour Cyclone crankset
Suntour Cyclone front and rear derailleurs and downtube shifters
Suntour Cyclone brake levers
NOS Wrights leather saddle still in the bag
Dual curved metal downtube cable guide that goes near the bottom bracket. that's for another bike that has Shimano Dura Ace AX components on it.
Cheers
