Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

not a fan. sophmoric graffiti is for skateboards, not bikes.

at the very least, conceptually this would work better for a new yorker like mike mccarthy, not a plano boy like armstrong.

Yeah, it fits in with the hipster urban poser thing though. Sign me up for a suburban Austin graffiti bike

the flat black looks nice, but I'm not a fan of the graffiti style paint scheme.

Something different and distinctive. I like the flat black scheme. Bet it would look pretty up close and no doubt it is an awesome ride.

Yeah, there's some really nice artistic interpretation there that really incorporates Armstrong's personality and his legend.

I dig... original, unique, complimentary color combo, an overall badass looking machine.

At the same time, though, I agree with many above statements... it's a little out of character for a Lance themed bike.

I would put white tape on there, overall I like it. I love the "since 1999", pretty clever.

I love it! I think it is very unique and it flows quite nicely with the yellow/black areolas...

The bike looks nice to me. Since I work in the industrial part of Long Beach I feel quite at home with the graffiti.

I spent a lot of time in the area at a middle school that served as a rec center after school hours. Lance went to the middle school (coach there told me he used to yell at Lance for riding his bike in the halls). I don't know what it was like when Lance was living there but the neighborhood is a bit rough around the edges. But no - its not like Deep Ellum or something.

It does say NYC on it. Hm.

I dig the paintjob. It's friggin awesome! There is better graffiti though...

(Botto I have a feeling that you knew this was coming.)

Edit:

Is there supposed to be this gap between the headtube and spacers?
