This one misses the mark. While I can always appreciate classic iron, hot it's not.
The tri-paired rear spokes are in argument with the vintage frame as are the bold wheel logos. This bike needs all silver wheels with no logo. Then the staging is utterly abhorrent. If you are going to go to the trouble of the Olin Mills backdrop route, you need to knock the wrinkles out of the sheet. The elevated rear stand kills the lines of the bike. White bar tape has its place. Clean white bar tape that is.

LOL, this was only put out there to respond to the earlier comment on the Thomson seatpost. Although I will say this is the best riding bike of everything I own. Hopefully the twin takes over that standing after a few more rides. And you'll find no clean white bar tape in my stable. If it's clean I'm not riding it so I'm selling it. Dirty
bar tape is soooooooooooo sexy to me.
This Paletti only has 329 miles on it so far but the white tape on it is starting to get sexy!
Seriously though, that Lizard Skin bar tape was the first and only time I've used it. It does get dirty just by looking at it and isn't that comfortable to me.

A blackish bike with black components. You certainly don't see that everyday. Are all SRAM RDs that ugly?

Had the matching rear wheel, but kept snapping spokes. She’s not the prettiest but gets the job done.

Good bones, not a good build. I love Caad 4 and 5, and I have a broken R2000 in my garage as we speak.

To start.
Random zip tie needs to be removed, the wheels really should match, big stack of spacers under a straight up stem leads me to believe there's a fit issue perhaps. The only staging rule followed was showing the drive side.... Either way, you have good bones, and time.

@bampilot06, If you didn't select that seatpost, seat position, or stem for your own fit needs, I'd start by obtaining an average/normal stem (100mm with +/- 6 degree) and center the seat on the existing post and see where that got me, fit-wise. It'll help it look more aggressive/hot and probably feel a lot better while riding as well.

..and the setback seatpost with the seat pushed all the way back on it only underscores that belief...

I do plan on taking it to get fitted when I get a chance. But it does feel comfortable the way it is.

People's shapes vary, but that bike is probably just right for you -- with a normal stem -- unless you have unusually long/short arms/legs.
I'd buy this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cannondale-...sAAOSwrfFdq11g and center the seat and go from there.
(Obviously, the stem hasn't got to be a Cannondale one, but that one will fit and will get you to baselineon the bike, fit-wise.)
