I revised my search query on ebay to the correct "Shimano 6207 Crankset" and found quite a few for sale in the US and in Southern California as well.

Shimano 8-speed downtube shifters

I have a used set of 7-speed Shimano 105 indexing downtube shifters that I'd like to trade for a similar 8-speed set.

Yes, I know you can use them in friction mode for any number of cogs. That's what I'd do if it were my bike. But it's not my bike.

I also have other trade goods that I'd offer for the 8-speed shifters, including an intact set of 7-speed brifters (also Shimano), although I think they're cosmetically mismatched.

Anybody out there have either a Brooks B67 or a B68? My Ross Eurotour is looking for some class.

Hubs should be 6207 and would be freewheel, not freehub. You can make a 6400 freehub work with 6 cogs and the correct spacers. There's a guy on eBay who will make you a set of spacers to fit; he's a machinist who sells tools and spacers. You can find him by looking up shims/spacers on eBay.
Hello Doc,
I think I have two options here. Soon I will have a nice 700c clincher wheelset with the Mavic MA-40 rims and the 6400 freehub. If you were in my position, would you consider acquiring the Tricolor 6400 RD, FD, chain and shifters that match the freehub, or go with the Shimano 6207/6208 Group and replace the 6400 freehub with 6208? that is assuming a 6208 freehub will fit on the wheel. I also like your idea of modifying the 6400 freehub with spacers, then the bike will be back to original components.

I think either option will work just fine, unless you are concerned about the matchy-matchy.
Tricolor shifters are bit more robust, but I like the polished metal look of the 6208.

ISO Huret Allvit Derailleurs

ISO a pair of Huret Allvit deraileurs for a Raleigh Royale. The originals seem to have disappeared into the black hole of bike parts. They do not need to be pristine, just functional and clean enough that Evaporust can do its job.

By "a pair" do you mean front and rear? I'll dig around in the pile at the shop.

Poorly stated on my part - but yes, a front and rear with claw. I have "organized" my parts a couple of times. That appears to have been a mistake.

I think I have that pair, pulled from an early 60s Raleigh road bike. I'll check in a bit.

Thanks, Robbie, but I've already obtained a pair through the generosity of Jim Muller.

I SO: Viscount axle skewer

A final detail to complete my long termed 76 Aerospace Pro, need only one axle skewer and for the rear. Though if only a front is available, I could do a thread rod rework for rear application.

Let me know your needs for trade. Have 70s / 80s parts.
Thank you+

Do you need a Viscount skewer or is any skewer ok? If any is ok let me know the axle width and I'll send one with the bar ends that haven't shipped yet.

9volt, thanks for the reply. I have plenty of skewers but need a specific to brand `Viscount'. Decorative with the company name on the lever, the nut has a red cap with letter V. Apparently they were replaced because the frame was made without axle stops, the skewer was not grooved or grip marked. I've since made axle stops for the frame.

Depiction below is someone else's nasty dirty from the net ;-)

I have the red skewer on the front but wouldn't mind either color. The bike is white and blue with badge hinting red. Mixing it up with blue is fine with me.
