Finally bought my ideal bike. Its a Chirico
So I had been hunting for a while for a bike with 80s super record components. This came up on ebay in Italy and I jumped on it. I like the Pantographing. (and no I do not ride with the pedals like that I will be untucking the straps)

If I recall correctly, they were the actual maker of the Cinelli Centurian bikes of the mid 80’s.

I had heard that they made the Cinelli Equipes. Interestingly, Its hard to find a serial on this bike so I am not sure exactly what year this was made.

I believe it is made of Columbus SL but I am not 100% sure.

That's what your seat tube decal says (and at this size it would generally be SL-only and NOT SP), always a small chance some Falck was snuck in, but I tend to doubt it given the "high class" touches.
Did anybody mention the builder was reported to have made the Cinelli Centurion Equipes?
Really nice bike and not one I have seen in the flesh, either...congrats!

Is that the signature of PO on the top tube and is it "Magni, O."? Would guess first name might be Ottavio or something like it, and that surname has some cache, but perhaps no relation to the marque. And BTW in case I missed this the headlugs are very similar to, but maybe not exactly the same Prugnat "62D" model lugs used by MANY builders, including highly favored by Ernesto for his Colnagos

I got the bike on the road today and went a couple miles to test the seat and stem height and the ride quality is superb.

Just for more "bike porn" and why I registered the name "Magni" here's one with centerfold quality pix, built by Giovanni Losa for "Pep Magni" (Guiseppe) all these guys in the same general neighborhood that Chirico is located in: Greater Milano I bet they all know each other and that "Magni" may be a fairly common name in Milano
