History of pro cycling?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but are there any good books on the history of pro cyclists, particularly in the twentieth century?

Cycling's Golden Age - has loads of great photos and stories, but it stops at about the time that Merckx entered the pro peloton.

Once upon a time someone decided that it was a good idea to pay someone for riding a bike because they were so good at it.

The End.

I take PayPal.
