Is there anyone that isn't going to Ineos?
Lately, every time I listen to cycling commentary it seems I hear them talking about riders going to Team Ineos. Both my wife and I thought that Lucy Martin's comment "if you can't beat them, buy them" was hilarious. I don't know if that is a phrase she heard or came up with, but it seems to fit the circumstances lately.
Is there any limit of the number of cyclist for a team? Not asking about team on a tour or race. But how many cyclist's can be managed by one team organization.

doesn't really matter what Ineos do, Pogacar can ride their train all day, just like he rode Jumbo train. Than kill them in the TT.
All of Ineos young GC guys, NONE of them can TT like Pogacar.
I'm more interested in what UAE will do to help Pogacar. Because despite how good Pogacar is individually, he can always use a teammate on a climb because of potential flat tire.

Well, they've shed Froome. I'll be they're done with Thomas soon enough?
Obviously Porte is signing on to play a super-domestique role, but where does Adam Yates fit in? Yates and Bernal as a two-headed threat for next year's Tour, with Carapaz (and who?) riding for the Giro and Vuelta?

I think the UCI team roster cap for World Tour teams is still 28 riders +/- 2 neo pros.
I'm not aware of any salary cap. Whatever the sponsors will bear.

^thinking he will be a super-domestique for one or two gt's a year and possibly/maybe second in command on any gt he rides
aloong with being the main man on shorter, weeklong tours like a tirreno or dauphine.
no way ineos will be able to keep all their gt talent satisfied for long. there will be defections. i'd say they're the opposite of dqs
by only focusing on gt's but, if memory serves, dqs won 5 stages in the last vuelta so teams can reinvent themselves.

There is really only one time I can think of that Ineos as Sky animated the race and created some excitement. Don't remember the stage or year of the TdF, but it was when there were some heavy cross winds and about 20 km out they got on the front and split the peloton leaving some important challengers behind. Might have been the year just before Cannondale became EF.
There have been a few individual moments such as when Quintana went for a sip from his bottle near the top of a climb and Froome took off. But overall, their strategy and tactics pretty much are stay the course and know when reel in the breakaway. Which is otherwise boring to me.

They're not in it to animate the race. They're in it to win the race.
Watching them drill it to the 3k banner on an inconsequential stage and then backing off to no consequence is in some ways more awesome than watching flailed and failed efforts from the lesser teams.
I don't love them, but I don't hate them either. I do admire them.
