Thank you for that link. I like using youtube when I can, but finding stuff is spoty. I was even able to stream some of stage 14 thanks to your link. Kudos.

That fan pushing the cyclist was nuts. Some little kids have almost gotten in the way. One was standing with his back to the riders waving at the camera moto and almost got hit. Another little girl jumped out near Contador and almost got hit by the camera moto.

Eurosports commentators also mentioned one of the team buses suffered an arson attack.

I saw that kid, looking at the camera moto, almost get hit in the back of the head by a rider's handlebar. That could have been ugly, for the kid and the riders.

It was the Aquablue bus. Someone put a mattress under the rear, and lit it up. Apparently it was part of several other fires that were set that night, and last I read it was a random bit of nonsense, or at least that it wasn't specifically targeting Aquablue.

Rooting against Froome can be so unrewarding.

ITT are boring to me. I wouldn't miss them if they disappeared altogether.

Contador is putting up a good fight. It would be great if he could get a podium. Nibali, Kelderman would need to have a really bad day for that to happen.

Yes, boring to watch, but I'm glad they are there. They test a rider in ways that the other stages don't, and it's always interesting to learn who really is fast over a sustained course (as opposed to fast in a sprint or strong on climbs, or beneficiary of a stronger team)

What a ride by Denifl! I was sure he'd be caught, like the rest of the breakaway. That's a huge win for Aqua Blue Sport. I love it when the breakaway succeeds.

Stage 17
180Kms 4:48:52 for the winner.

Aqua Blue can expect more wild cards. Froome suddenly looks vulnerable and stage 20 will be crucial.

Watching Contador on 17 was fun too. Nice to see some riders actually gain some time on Froome.

Hmmmm...NBC Sports Gold letting me down this morning...Stage 18 not showing up anywhere to view. Have resorted to French Eurosport on SteepHill.

I must say stage 17 has been my favorite so far. It didn't look that impressive on the stage map, but those inclines seemed brutal. Enjoyed watching Contador fly away and Froome crack a bit.

Yes, he had some nice attacks, and looked very strong. Unfortunately for him, Kelderman and Zakarin were able to respond and limit his gains towards the podium. It was fun to watch Aru's bold, angry solo attack; it'll be interesting to see the price he pays tomorrow. Woods continues to impress. And it's always fun to watch a guy break away and get his first pro win, especially in such a big race. Very happy for Armee.

Glad to see Alberto go out with a great win. Why was Aru so far back, did he have an incident or did he pay for working so hard on earlier stage?

Seeing Contador win on Angliru was very gratifying.

Part of me wondered if Sky let him go out of respect, just ensuring that the time difference was small.

Yea, Sky let off at around the 1 km on purpose when the rest of the field behind them was cracked. I think it was a Gentlemen's agreement today for no silly breakaways to deny him the stage.

I was worried with about 1 k or so to go that Pouls was gong to catch Alberto. The gap got down to 23 seconds (I believe) but then Alberto extended it a bit. I too wondered if they "let him win" but I sure hope not. I can't see Pouls not wanting the stage if he were capable of getting it.

I watched all the race and enjoyed it all. I liked the two announcers but the one used the word Naa every third word and it is slang for yes or OK.It got old after several stages. He needs to listen to himself for four hours and he wold be more careful.
Still enjoyed the race.

Finally watched stage 20. It was a lot of fun.

This was my first year that I really watched cycling races, besides the Olympics last year, and I have to say that Contador is a fun rider to watch, and his attacks and riding style made every stage with him in it more enjoyable.
