There a LOTS of them out there, no major manufacturers really, only small batch productions.
In the US they would have to battle for limited road space. The concept is good, but the infrastructure doesn't support them very well.
Not so bad in places like the Netherlands. Sinner is a well known manufacturer of velomobiles there.
