Our Calfee is one year old today
Time sure flies when you are having fun! One year ago today the Calfee frame and Fork arrived, I actually went to the Fed Ex facility to pick it up. It was ready to test ride by around 4:00 that afternoon.
We now have 4,765 miles on the bike and are totally satisfied with it. We have ridden it in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida.
I have changed out some components but the only items that have been replaced are two rear tires, one front tire and both chains.

We did get out for a 20 mile ride this morning, we drove home from Daytona Beach yesterday (17 hours) so that was all we wanted. We plan to go further tomorrow.
Thanks,

I did have your and Tandemgeeks build sheets and I read everything I could on this board so I went into the build fairly well prepared.
If the finances allowed I would start out with the Calfee Dragonfly and would also look carefully at the Lightning cranks with the new Ultegra chainrings. The Ultegra triple shifts extremely well.
I am going to replace the primary chain with the CDX belt when it is available but other than that I would probably keep things like they are now.
What about you, would you do anything different?
