Your stoker needs a pair of these for those cold rides.

my wife loves the on flat bars version for the cold frosty rides. And instead of heated gloves we toss in a $1.00 disposable hand warmer that we buy bulk at the local MEC (Canadian version of REI).

Sorry about the Facebook inconvenience for you folks. I'm lazy and it's easy for me. But I make sure I'm wearing my tinfoil had whenever I'm signed on to FB.
The tour was just unbelievable. MANY happy tandem couples.
Oh, gotta run. I think I hear the black helicopters....

I hadn't responded to this thread earlier, cause we're not a "couple", there just happens to be two of us riding. Anyway, here we are:

Couldn't resist taking a snippet from this morning's news... I am thinking this is good enough to qualify.
Bike for two and a smiling Captain and a happy Stoker. No comment though on the stokers relatively low contribution to the pedaling effort (mine often does worse by putting her feet up on the lateral bar)!
If the pix file doesn't make it up to the forum, here is the URL

That's not a stoker, that's a passenger. "Stoker" implies they provide power; the stokers on steam ships were the guys that shoveled the coal.

I have to guess this is not the first time you have completely missed the point in general and/or missed out on attempt at satire and/or missed out on something actually nice due to an inability to see anything outside of a fully literal interpetation...correct? So please try to expand a bit; it will make life a lot more interesting!

Using a photobooth app on a rented tandem back in March in Myakka. Eventually, I'll get the 1970 Schwinn Twinn into more rideable shape ... maybe I'll even still have this fellow hanging around by that point! Here's hoping.

Full Campy and wool everything.

One of my eight yr old twin granddaughters that completed the 2012 MS Pedal To The Point 103mile Century. She did the 75mile ride with me last year(2011)and ASKED if she could do the century for 2012. My Medium/Small Cannondale RoadTandem II has the Co-Motion Kiddie Crank set-up along with Schwinn style handle bars. Didn't want a tandem where she be staring at my backside all day. She loves being "up" and being able to see over me!!!

That's really cool. As my sweetie & tandem stoker said, it's great that she asked after doing the 75 miles at age 7, and great that granddad is riding too! Congrats!
