I want one so bad. I bet their bikes last a long time.
Are there other makers of comparable quality working mainly with titanium?

Eriksen, who founded Moots. Firefly is doing some breathtaking stuff. Seven. Spectrum (who uses Seven frames). Engin. Serotta was as nice as anything...wish they were still around.
Moots surely makes some very nice bikes, but they probably wouldn't be my first pick if I bought one new.

Let us not forget Mike DeSalvo in Oregon, a smaller builder than others mentioned but first rate.

Davidson Bicycles in Seattle makes titanium and steel frames. (Davidson Handbuilt Bicycles | Bicycles Handbuilt in Seattle, Washington) I'd guess every large city has at least one good/great frame builder. We're spoiled in Seattle with two - Davidson and R&E, though R&E only builds steel frames. I waffle between them as I contemplate a new bike purchase.

Jim Kish and Indy Fab. And really, is there anything actually wrong with Lynskey or Litespeed?

Fireflys are beautiful...BUT...I have that Blackburn front rack-and it comes honestly in the ugliest finish possible. Given the effort in finishing Firefly does, I'm surprised that they didn't refinish it properly and only resorted to photoshopping it a bit.

Moots does make great stuff but they don't go the full custom route more on the production side of things but not in any bad way.
My vote as well as the vote of others on this forum would be Firefly, their work is top notch and I lust after most bikes they make. Their welds are perfect and their anodizing work is beyond measure. There are tons of others people have mentioned who do great work but Firefly is probably my top favorite hands down.

Lynskeys and Litespeeds also still made in the US, Chattanooga TN. Lynskey will do custom build, for high prices. They also sell a lot of frames at huge discounted prices (under $1kusd), if you find the boutique ti frame makers out of reach. I've had 3 Lynskeys, no flaws. They sell in higher volume and I have heard they make some frames sold under other names too.

I'm looking at purchasing a Lynskey Cooper CX sometime this year if all goes according to plan. Prices are a little bit more attainable during their sales than most other titanium bike manufacturers. And yes, to me, USA-made frame is a significant factor in the purchase (yes I realize most of the components are made overseas).

So long as you get a nice threaded BB Lynskey's are great. We had a customer bring in a their bike with BB issues so we reinstalled the Lynskey spec'd BB and still had problems we even called the BB manufacturer and checked with them about install. The customer still had issues so we contacted Lynskey and denied it was anything on them. So we ordered a new BB and installed it and same issues and reached out to Lynskey again and the same run-around. We tried installing everything their way and issues again and reached out to them again and same thing. Finally after several rounds of installs and different BBs, they finally relented and said "ok, send it back and we will re-do it" and finally got it resolved we believe with some shims.
2 of mine are thread in BB. The 3rd was a helix mtn bike frame with PF30. I just put in a Wheels Mfr BB which was too easy and would have fit even out of spec BB I guess
