Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yep. My wife drove a Prius before her Acura RDX and a friend thanked her for saving fuel for his dualie super cab and his 5th wheel.

The BMW is on its way to being replaced by another Tesla but he says the F150 4x4 or another will be around a long time.

Why? If done properly, you can't hardly get the suckers back off.

Those F150 4x4s are tough to beat, when you need one. Like a chainsaw.

I admire hard-working F-150s and the like... but most of the ones that I see have never gotten dirt under their nails, so to speak.

When I was growing up in Manhattan, Brooklyn, with the exception of Coney Island, might have been Tashkent.

Yankees, except in 1969, and to the extent that a hippie-nerd child had any awareness of sports. I didn’t go to a baseball game until I was an adult. My mother’s family were all Dodgers fans, speaking of Brooklyn. My father was from Germany and once started to take me to a game at Yankee stadium, but decided on the Berlin Bar on E. 86th St., a German neighborhood at the time, when he saw the traffic on the Major Deegan.

I liked them growing up in the 1970’s. Thurman Munson was my favorite. He came to my little league banquet circa 1978, I still have the baseball he signed for me. Apparently it’s worth more than anything I own other than the house.

Glad your ride is shaping up! Going to take a short ride on Sat to test a half-spacer lower bar position and then spend some much needed time in the gym. Sunday, I want to go long (for me) and easy.

I have a chainsaw that is stellar and a shovel that is awesome. Sadly, no confusing graphs of performance improvement that was promised.
