Lemond Chambery

I've seen this post on craigslist for at least a few weeks. Can anyone tell me why it's not selling?

It's a 2006 Lemond Chambery (not really C & V- My apologies, I didn't really know where else to post this)

Thanks!

It's not selling because it's outdated, overpriced, and undersized.

overpriced yes but almost all bikes are becoming more or less overpriced around the L.A. Region. Not undersized for a short person!

Wow, that is the most comprehensive ad for a bike I've ever seen on craigslist!
Maybe it is just too many words?

Seems to be priced about twice what it should be. Lemond made some nice steel frames that hold their value, but this isn't one of those.

That's definitely VERY high for a 6 year old bike with 9sp 105, and one with a limited sized clientele to boot. In my market that MIGHT be a $500 bike on a good day.

+1 for overpriced.

Lemond Zurichs with Reynolds 853 steel and full Ultegra can be regularly found on ebay for <$800. A far superior bike (and at a lower price), in my opinion.

egh, I thought it was overpriced too but the poster lost me a bit with all those details and links. I thought maybe there was something I was missing... He states that the previous owner put a lot of money into it but I don't really see it

You've got it backwards. Undersized bikes sell for a premium.
