Who has a VVA MTB?

Looking for anyone else who may have A Victor Vincente of America (VVA) Topanga! or a VVA-26 Semi-Custom Dirt Road Bike. I have two Topanga!s and a VVA-26. Who else has these unicorns?

I've only ever heard of Victor Vincente, not familiar with his bikes I don't think.

You need 5 posts X 2 days for 10 total, you can go around and comment on any thread that interests you to get there.

We have plenty of MTB folks and threads here so there's plenty to see.

I've got a couple myself.

Custom 1982 Jim Merz, one of maybe a dozen, unicorn would be an understatement.

Last year 1994 MB-1 with Ritchey fork crown.

Early 80's Chrome Ritchey with original fillet brazed bars and built up from a bare frame.

You can also add some pics to your home page gallery and they may get moved here.

I recall that there was a Topanga at the late, lamented Velo Cult shop here in Portland. I hope Sky figures out how to show off his collection again some day.

Years ago (35-ish) I rode in one of VVA’s Reseda to the Sea races. I think I came in dead last.

Sky sold the Topanga! years ago and is now in Minnesota. It is SN 2 which is one of six demonstrators that Victor lent to bike shops to let people test it out.

they just did a Reseda to the Sea a couple of years ago to celebrate with Victor on his 80th bday!

The black one is SN038, currently the last documented Topanga!

These are interesting bikes, the small wheeled ones. Have any insights on their design or how they ride?
