Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

if it's a demo only bike that reps are showing to shops, they probably don't have a finish on it so they can show the manufacturing details of the bike. I doubt that the finished product that they roll out to the showroom floor will look anything like this.

I see that they keep improving the six 13. It's almost back to 100% Al, so I wonder when C'dale will pick a new name for it. BTW, noone really can tell the difference between a good Al or carbon bike. It really comes down to wheels and components these days.

Cheers

I really like the stealth look of the bike in flat black infact I feel more at home with a bike like that then one that is painted up all so damn pretty that it's a target for every meth freak in the city limits to come and take it. Besides doesn't mater if the bike has the fansiest componants if you haven't the lungs to make the legs go and the the fast steadiness to hold your line. Bring it to the table see what you can do with it then make your own very personal opinion and ride it untill the seat logo transfers to your A$$$$$$$$$$$

I like the stealth look plus the fact that I also immediately thought of the specialized roubaix cause they look really really similar, probably churned out of the same overseas factory.

I agree. Yet another generic CF frame made to the parent company's specs, re-labeled, and sold for more than it's worth. Very un-exciting and I am dissapointed for Cannondale. If they want to make a "real" Cannondale CF frame they should at least custom-spec the tubes and glue them in their own factory. And, yes, I too have actually seen a Cannondale crack right in front of me with my own eyes. In their defense this was several years ago when the down tubes still looked like beer cans.
