Super nice frame that is nicely updated (but needs a black stem... )
https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...003987609.html
Hi there, selling my ‘Neo-retro’ build of full Campagnolo Record 10spd on a 1988 Bianchi Limited SL Argentin frame w Zipp 303s.
Built this spring, rode 300 mi this summer.
The perfect bike- top end lugged steel frame with new campy record titanium groupset and zipp 303s means this is the perfect combo of speed, stiffness, weight, comfort, class and style. Been racing bikes for many years and have all types, this has been by FAR my my favorite.
Only selling bc it’s a bit too small (note big seat / bar drop) and I’m moving abroad.
Frame: 1988 frame, from a used-twice-and-hung-up garage get in California. Columbus SL tubing (stiffest tubing) In the rare argentin (black and Celeste) colorway. 55cm
Please note this is not the specialissima x-4 Argentin frame, but trofeo style Limited SL in the Argentin colorway- super rare.
Frame condition is 10/10 with Like new stiff steel, plumb and unblemished. Coated interior with framesaver.
Paint job is a 6/10 with some chips and spidering. Some chipped areas were treated with naval jelly then sealed with Celeste varnish.
Built with NOS campy Record titanium 10 spd groupset. 172.5mm Ultratorque Carbon cranks on ceramic BB, KCNC ceramic pulley. gorgeous rare 3TTT 130mm quill stem, Repacked Miche headset (only holdover from original build). 44cm Salsa alloy ‘shortnshallow’ semi compact /ergo bars
Zipp 303 tubulars (true, sound) glued up with with a new veloflex arenberg front/ Vittoria corsa EVo sc 50% tread) rear. Running Stans sealant in both, never any issues (this is a killer setup I run on all my bikes btw- highly recommended - best of tubular w/out issues of flats). Swissstop king carbon pads. Can bomb down mt wachussett in the rain and stop on a dime.
I can throw in a spare NOS 10spd record chain, a second Veloce cassette and some alloy wheels if you’d like.
Let me know if you’d like more info/ to check it out.
Happy riding!

Super Tempting! I've never ridden a Davidson, but my FIL had a bike built by him back in the 80s. Was one of his first "real" bikes and he swears it was incredible. Left it in his car at a condo in Miami overnight, valet'd the car and when he returned the next day, no bike. Was surprised insurance actually paid him a sizeable lump for it, at least 30% more than what he paid.
Sadly(?!), just scored an A-D Olympian, bringing me back to N +5 for the 4th time this year, it should be here tomorrow. I've got three bikes listed on CL right now for sale, two bites on one of them. If I can get one ore more sold you'll have a PM in your inbox. But at that price, I'll be surprised if the Davidson is still around 48 hours from now.

Long Island Vintage MTBers:
This 95 Kona Explosif has been sitting for weeks. I asked him if he'd bring to Grand Central but he declined; I'm not going out there since I already have a 95 Hot.
Oddly, the sticker does say Aluminum, but its a not-too-common Columbus MAX frame. Ti bars and Logic brakes make it a great deal at 150

Flippant
The original post is informative in that I was unaware Goodwill's auctions had expanded into NC. Nowhere near me of course, but this red, hence fast, bike is in Charlotte, which is in North Carolina. If I wasn't so laughably past any semblance of a reasonable N+1, I'd be considering it as it is in my size range.
(Thank you @FBOATSB )
<sigh emoji> I don't have a red bike. I am so slow.

Waitaminit... braze-ons?
I saw that too and now I'm wondering. Didn't the Varsity's have band ons??
A Paramount in disguise???

Anyone know about this Miyata 1200? First I've heard of Shimano Sante. Look clean though, $400 CAD seems like a good price.

This is not a bad deal for someone looking for a touring bike. I'd buy it myself if I didn't have so many bikes already.

$750 BIN price for a fairly nice looking Colnago, '78 or '79 maybe? Shocked this didn't sell overnight, maybe I'm missing something (definitely isn't a Colnero). $75 shipping is really fair.

Not sure anyone is looking for this in particular: but it is an interesting direction to take your race bike.. easily rectified and you have a nice colnago! I like the black boots for the brakes.. that is cool.

Nice deal on a minty Lemond Nevada City, $300. I like the color scheme a lot, that gray looks almost like bare metal would look.
