Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Best Places To Train During The Winter

What are some of the best places to train during the winter months in the US?

Tucson gets my vote.

Tucson is awesome in the winter. I would know because I went on a ride this morning in my short-sleeve jersey!

Overall, I would say the Canary Islands.

Man, maybe I should do something like this with my winter break.

A full winter hitting the hills hard would rock!

I'm going to have to live with the 1-2 hrs on the trainer everyday though. Yay!

I get 10 days in Tucson over my winter break.
It should be the best thing ever.

To all the people who said Europe, you don't know what you are talking about, it is very wet.

So what is the real estate scene like there? How much for a cheap condo/apartment?
