More information
Tubulars are completely round. The tube is basically sewn into the tire and is part of it. As a result, the tubular is just one piece. Tubular tires are often glued to the rim, because without some glue they tend to move around a bit.
Tubulars are less common, but have a strong following with many road and triathlon cyclists. The total weight of a tubular rim and tire is always lighter than its clincher equivalent. Other advantages of this system include a decreased chance of pinch flats, an ability to operate with a wider range of tire pressures (from 25 to 200 psi), and increased safety in the event of a flat at high speed because a properly glued on tubular tire is less likely to roll off the rim.
Most pros use tubular tires as from a performance point of view. A tubular isn’t constrained by the rim sidewalls, so it can flex more. This means that a 25 mm tubular gives you the shock absorption of a 28 mm clincher – useful when you’re descending bumpy mountain passes at speed.
A De Bernardi frame might be the best bike you never heard of. In the heyday of steel frames, back in the '60s, '70s, and '80s, the De Bernardis owned a shop in Cuneo, Italy, called Technotrat. Not wanting to be involved with the complexities of marking and distribution, their specialty was building high-quality frames for other brands, such as Saronni. But the De Bernardis did build a few under their own name.

Schwinn Voyageur SP - $100 - SE Michigan
Not great photos, but this seems like a solid value for a Voyageur. Probably good that it wasn't posted a few days earlier or it might have ended up in the back of my car after dropping a kid and his stuff in Ann Arbor last Saturday!

Great road bike for someone looking for a good bike to improve their riding experience. This is a one owner bike and has been maintained well over the years. This is a lightweight bike and a large frame. It is great for anyone 6ft and taller. All components are operational. Serious inquiries only

Big issue with this one is rust, but rust on frame looks very light and a chain can be replaced. I'd be more worried about the seat post and the stem, if they come out it's good to go.

TREK 520- 1984 steel bicycle - $100 (Ahwatukee/Phoenix)
This a 1984 Trek 520 road touring bicycle with Reynolds 501 tubing (steel). Frame size is 20.5 inches or 52.5 centimeters measured from center of top tube to center of crankset. Better known as a 21 inch frame on the showroom floor at the time. More suitable for someone 5 feet 6 inches or smaller. We are the original owners but oh boy is she in rough condition. She could be brought back to her original glory and I could do it but I have too many other bike projects. I looked on ebay and these sell, SELL (not just asking prices) between $500 and $1,000 depending on condition and components. A bike shop might charge you a pretty penny to bring this back to life. So, I'd recommend the buyer know about vintage bicycles or have a knowledgeable friend. Here are the specs. Crankset is a Sakae CR triple. Stem is an 85 mm SR Custom. Bellari handlebars. B-Hinault headset. Front derailleur is a Suntour Cyclone M II. Rear, the same. Suntour downtube shifters. Maillard hubs. Trek proprietary Matrix Safari rims. 6 speed freewheel. LaPrade 27.2 seatpost. 27" tires need replacing. Yes, only $100. OK, now the ground rules for contact. I take phone calls only - no texts or emails. Call Harry at show contact info. I live south of South Mountain near S. 44th St. & E. Ray Rd. Enjoy the photos.

Mish-mash of C-Record era bits including Cobaltos! (rear is missing the jewel...)
https://boston.craigslist.org/nwb/bi...372882083.html
I am selling a vintage Italian made Guerciotti road bike with a 56cm Columbus SLX frameset, Columbus chrome fork, 2x8 Campagnolo record/chorus mix group I believe, Cinelli bar, Cinelli stem , Guerciotti matching water bottle, Flite titanium saddle and 700c Campagnolo Omega aero wheels. As the bike sits right now it needs some BB work, a chain and a bit of lube. The previous owner ran the cable housing to accept the tri bar attachment so to remove those requires re arranging all the cable housing. Overall frame condition is excellent the chrome fork has a little bit of pitting on the non drive side but very minor. A very rare high end Italian designer bike with a rare paint scheme. Sold as is for cash and pick up only. Please mention name, item, a phone number for a response all other emails or texts will be considered spam and will be ignored. Thanks
Seat tube 22"
Top tube 21.5"

Never seen this brand before. Assuming it's some sort of bonded aluminum frame. Pretty funky looking though.
