Not sure what this is. Head tube and fork look like an International. Then there's what looks like maybe a kludge coupler on the top tube. And weird decals. Any ideas?

Rare Suntour S1 Derailleurs
Something you don't see everyday. On eBay out of France, some NOS Suntour S1 Indexed rear derailleurs. If your into vintage experimentation this could be a fun project. These were designed to shift 7-speed Suntour rear freewheels or cassettes from the early 1990's time frame using an indexing cam that was located in the rear derailleur mechanics and not in the shifters (those can be friction). The really hard thing will be you have to devise a mount for your frames chain stay, as these things were mounted forward of the rear dropout on a special braze-on. Per the disraeligears website "Designed for commuting bikes, it all looked quite well thought out - but a SunTour system that demanded special unique frame fittings was never going to catch on a world in which Shimano was now totally dominant."
The price seems very reasonable if you've wanted to experiment with one or just have one for the display case (I'm tempted). Seller has a decent feedback record so it appears to be legit.

Another NOS group, this one appears real. Shimano 600EX still in the box. Looks like shifters switched to DA, and it should have had a long-cage RD also. $375 in Huntsville, Tx.

Or if that's too big, here's a small RRB with Shimano Golden Arrow components right here in Evanston for less than three clams. Ad says 54cm, but that's a mighty short head tube. This is one of the Ron Boi-designed/Taiwan-built frames.
Edit: I recall Ron telling me these frames were designed to accept either 700C or 27-inch wheels, so if the 27-inchers aren't to your liking, you should be able to switch to 700C easily enough.

Bent Forks On The Road
Please forgive the newbie question, but how exactly did you determine that these forks are bent? I often see this critique but sometimes, as with these bikes, I can't identify the damage even when I look for it. I'm not doubting you, I am trying to learn how to see it for myself.

It's been up for almost a month at this price, and I saw another go locally for twice that. I've always wanted a Portage, but never found one I could afford - so now I'm going to build my own. Sorta. The frame is the same tubing - 555T DB chrome-moly - but without the braze-ons for canti brakes. Fork is hi-ten rather than chromo, but that's alright.
Probably go 700c x 35 on the wheels/tires, with V.O. faceted fenders. The frame is tall for me, so I can go with my low saddle/high handlebar with the upside-down Northroads style.
A note about the seller: TALL! Look at that seatpost and stem... both waaayyyy past the limit line. No wonder he wanted to get rid of it. This one is going to be very nice come Spring...
