The listed folded size exceeds most airline limits on carry-on size that I've seen. But they're close enough that many gate agents may not object. I could also envision some TSA agents having issues with it.

Didn't see any details on the gearing. The listed range of development corresponds to 56 - 94 gear inches - possibly a 3-speed hub?

At first I was thinking this is a really cool design. Then the pessimist in me thinks that's a lot of stress on the folding steerer. The small wheels, skateboardish wheelbase, and high center of gravity make me think any sudden braking will faceplant you never mind hitting a speedbump or curb at any speed. Nice to see new ideas though.

This thing was put out awhile ago on Kickstarter, and it didn't receive the required backing,...it was too strange AND too expensive for what it was - a niche product.

Kwiggle® starts at 2016/12/01 on Kickstarter.com - Kwiggle-Bike

Artice about it from Digital Trends: https://www.digitaltrends.com/outdoo...foldable-bike/

Priced at 1,240 euros (roughly $1,325), the Kwiggle is more expensive than most other foldable bikes on the market.Jan 23, 2017

Hope to see a review someday, but I suggest a full face helmet just to be safe. I think this bike would be perfect for large expo halls, factories, or other private spaces where the floors are smooth and the high posture can let you see above the crowds.

Got another email back from the company. Sounds like the bikes is made almost exclusively in Germany...so the cost is not out of line because of that. But many people don’t care where it’s made...and the high price will make it more exclusive.

Agreed the seating position is very upright and small tire/wheelbase looks like a face plant waiting to happen...but they show videos of it driving off road so perhaps it’s got some magic that somehow allows for a stable face plant free ride?

Regardless I’m very interested in this one for my Europe trips where I could pack it easy and make my train stop to destination travel much quicker and easier than walking

I'll stay with my Micro PedalFlow. If it came with a 3 speed internal geared hub it'd be PERFECT!

What’s the micro pedal flow worth?
Does the lack of seat ever become annoying?
Any idea how many kg it is?

Not sitting is actually quite nice riding it. As to it's weight,...I can't say right now. It's away,...winter time keeps me from riding it at the moment.

I really liked mine until the chain fell off while I was riding and I almost broke a rib.

After that, I just don't trust it anymore. It's a cute idea, but not quite there yet.

Oh, wow,...I'm sorry to hear that. I've had no issues with mine, since my mods.
