At $150 for two, that seems like a very good price for a Voyageur (ignoring tye pump and rack and bag) even if you gave away the other bike!

I'll admit 8 was a bit of an exaggeration, the official max is apparently 26t which really means 24t because of freewheel availability.

^^^^^ And almost no pandemic or PNW taxes. Even a chainstay-brake haytah would have trouble dissing this one.

I wonder if it belonged to Bill Walton or a Seattle Supersonic player? Then again, could also have belonged to a Seahawk too.
Yeah, I was gonna say, those dual pot brake pads just sorta slipped out of their holders. Looks a little overkill for this bike.
Probably a bit overpriced due to the lack of original parts, but a nice old Trek in the category of "bikes that are hard to find because they share the name as a highly desirable vintage MTB", also with a fairly rare decal set. Also I think the original spec of this was SR, not NR.

To quote an early Andy Griffith routine, "I b'lieve I'll have me a Big Orange." This one's obviously been stored inside for decades; I've never seen one that was not badly faded, and they are usually found in this large size. Flexstem is a nice touch.

Fuji Finest 1970’s 10 speed - $150 (Batavia)
https://cincinnati.craigslist.org/bik/d/batavia-fuji-finest-1970s-10-speed/7167172374.html"I bought this in the early 1970’s. Rides fine; I finally got a replacement. Sew-up tires. One leaks; one new spare included. Rims straight. Pretty engraved Cinelli bar; Campy front derailleur and air pump; Hi-E sealed bearing hubs front and rear; special Sugino drilled front cogs, 52/47 teeth - not for heavy hills! Malfac racer brakes. Frame was beautiful, chromed and painted with some chrome showing. It is now showing its age. Foes still
Pretty. I ride a size 54, so this is about that size. About 22 7/8” from crank to the top of the seat post lug. It has cheap pedals and the original, cruel Brooks saddle."

Such a tease! I really don't need this bike, and I'll tell myself that it's too large at 23". It is a very pretty bike, within reach even. With Tubulars!
I'm just going to have to borrow some tubular wheels to sate my curiosity.

sorry I can't post direct links, just fill it in with the parentheses. 50cm (smallest size they made) 1984 Miyata 1000/ One Thousand looks to be in pretty good condition, and the price isn't bad for the model's reputation

I bought a 760 in 82(?). It was built by the shop (Livermore Cyclery) with mostly SunTour Superbe components. I expect the 970 (top level at that time I think) would have been available in bare frame form as well.
