"Late '70s" Trek appears to be an '83, with the under-the-BB cable routing. Tight rear triangle, 7-something? Paint job is so thick (or is that a mediocre PC?) that the serial number might be obscured. And those poor seat stays are crying for mercy with that rack mounting. COVID tax is offset by the too-much-crap-bolted-on discount.

Auto-correct strikes again. This "Kettle" is a Kettler German-made early aluminum-frame MTB. Awful photos/info. Cool slingshot stem. I think it's Deore, but I don't know which. Geezer-pleaser saddle.

Bridgestone Mile 112 road bike - $200

Nice, I had one of these and was impressed with how well it road. I expected harshness from the alloy fork but that just wasn't the case. The bike would move out pretty well too. I remember one ride on it when I was feeling good and moving at an unusual 26 mph pace. Came upon a fellow all tucked down in a newer Cervelo that tried to hang with me but the old Bridgestone was too much for him, fun times.

They come up on the 'Bay now and then, but not priced like this. It is missing its original color-keyed rear rack.

So, who snagged the 1977 California Masi (black/chrome fork crown/1010 dropouts) that was listed on Seattle CL for $1000?

It's gone now, and I wanted to share it here a couple days ago but was having issues that day with getting photos/links added to the post - so I gave up

It was in fantastic shape, all PC Campy NR. I asked the seller if the paint and decals were original but never heard back.

Its a wild market , I get it and god bless folks who are getting big $$ for the bikes that were cluttering up their garages but is a $300 GMC Denali "Wally world" bike a sign of the apocalypse?

1986 Wicked Fat Chance Mnt Bike - $800 (Revere)

Everything on the bike is original. The bike needs new tires and tubes and a seat. The bike has been in storage for about 20 years....protected from the outside elements. There are very few minor nicks and scrapes on the bike but overall, the bike is in great shape for its age.

Something you don't see every day, a Martelly (think "Fauxnago"):

Vintage early 1970's Colnago Super Campagnolo replica by Martelly steel frameset

If it was a smidgen bigger, I might have tossed out a bid.

The Maillot Jaune seems pretty pricey considering I paid $25 for these two frames one of which is a Maillot Jaune. I have seen complete bikes for $500 - $600 with Dura Ace components.

Bonus wacky-points for the abysmal photography and the saddle.

Double-bonus - brake cable routing.

Messaged the seller to ask about the un-photographer rear derailleur. Curious which of the triple pulleys it is.

There's a photo (maybe they added it since you messaged) showing it's a Le Pree, printing is quite worn.
