It’s certainly the best way to get downtown. It’s half a mile from my house and I use it when I need to.

Sunday’s long ride activated my old roommate, Mr. Simplex. Most unpleasant and a great way to review the sensory distributions of the sacral nerve roots.

Right, you can probably get an age spread but not easily.
Just playing around, it looks like if a person has a KOM or QOM, you can zero in on their age group pretty fast. If not, it seems like it would really take some digging.

Sorry to hear it. My wife suffered most of her life but things have calmed down a lot since she retired. Now, she only ha a rare problem and even then, it's not as severe. Same goes for migraines. Obviously work is evil.

After working on cars for 50 years I have a love-hate POV on them. Some muscle cars are interesting but many are just boring same old thing to me. I also don't really like anything older than around 1938-40. I mean, I can enjoy looking at a Dusenberg but Model T? Nah. I had a 1947 Chevy and I wish I still had it. I also liked my 66 Corvair because it was so weird. Actually I could live without ever owning anything other than the piece of crap Trailblazer I have now.

Slow morning. I awoke with energy to burn. Laundry is done and hung out to dry. Breakfast in the bag. Weed eater inspected and awaiting fuel, which I will buy shortly. As of yesterday, I have again lost interest in brewed coffee and am functioning marvelously by microdosing with instant.

Oh I always have a show I’ll only let myself watch on the trainer. Right after I ran out of AHS my mother recommended Ozark, which is good. Still just wanted to go out for real, but only had exactly an hour.

That's exactly how I do it. Some stuff I didn't realize would be so good, and I'll have to sit down and watch it again. Those actually made me look forward to the trainer... Then there's stuff like Bosch, The Man in the High Castle, etc, which are perfect trainer fodder.

Got out for a nice Wed ride. Finally had a chance to ride a route that I'd planned a couple weeks ago, stringing together a couple of previously unridden (by me) stretches for a more direct route around Minnetonka. Velo Vol will be pleased to hear that it involved a short stretch of Hwy 7.
The bike felt... awesome. Popped on the freshly waxed chain last night and between that and the wheels, tires and frame, it's just such a nice ride. So glad I made all of those upgrades this winter/spring.
I, on the other hand, felt a little off. Not horrible, just not quite right. A little fatigued. I'll make sure that the recovery rides the next two days are actually recovery rides.
