No problem. I wish I had one like that, or looked that good in one....

Looks like dude is running Sante calipers and brake levers, too....

That's an '89 Mark. Reportedly Dave Scott's were custom bikes. So I guess Mike Piggs were too. Besides the forks, and prestige tubing decals, another distinguishing feature on the pro steel Ironman were the seat tube Centurion decals. BTW, that '89 Ironman Pigg is riding is from a pic from the '88 Ironman triathlon in which he came in second place. In '88 he rode the same Ironman bike to become the National Triathlon Champion. And one more thing Pigg set a lot of course records that remain today, particularly on the bike portion. He was and is considered the best cyclist in triathlons...better than L.A.

The Pigg bike fork has a different lug/crown than the 85 Prestige. We need a clear picture of the Scott/MV Prestige to see what that fork crown looks like.

I'm looking at the photos again. The yellow bike in question appears to have a similar fork to the Scott MV. But the Scott MV appears to have wrap around seat stays.

I've taking some pics of Mike Piggs yellow fade master off the tv but, they're grainy. He's moving so fast it's hard to see the forks but there's a prestige sticker on the forks. Check it out.

Alright @fleslider here is some new Info. Thanks to the Centurion serial number data base by tmar and an observation by hummer.
The differences in Expert and Master can be corroborated by serial numbers! I was going through the serial number database and initially there was a lot BF members didn't know (the dark ages). I'm only on page 20 so I've got 60+ pages to go. But there's a trend. Before I reveal the "trend" I wanna try something first.

Here's the game "Ironman" owners. Post your serial number and I tell you if it's a Master or not. I can't tell you if it's a expert or pre expert/master but I "Think" I can tell you if it's a Master.

It looks like a 56 based on the pump peg. I think the peg is centered on the 54s.

Any of yoose guys ever rode an Ishiwata 22 frame? There is an overpriced Miele bike languishing on the Va Beach CL. I might make a low offer just to see how Ishiwata 22 frames ride.
