Another wool jersey for fall/winter. This one from the Queen hugger himself, picked up for a song on the bay.

If it doesn't warm up by 10am tomorrow, I'll be wearing it in 50 miles of filth...

OT, but C&V none the less.....

My just arrived 1:18 scale model of the 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Speciale Touring Coupe.
Waited for a model of this particular car for something like 20 years to be produced, after first seeing the car in a book in the late 80's. It's an uber grail model in my collection.
I figure, enough people in this board might be interested in such models/cars so I am posting it. Plus collecting scale models of C&V cars like this one is another passion I have together with C&V bike riding/collecting....

AgainOT, but we've been waiting at least 2 months for this since our local store stopped carrying this (on base BX).

and we have 6 cats, and nothing else works anywhere near as well.

Just recently got a set of older 105 Front and Rear derailleurs for my Fuji Stratos R. What a difference of 105 over Sora cheapies that came on it stock.

Yeah, I hear people say that the only difference between "regular" derailleurs and expensive nice ones is weight, that the cheap ones work just as well. However, when I upgrade my mountain bike's derailleurs to Deore XT, there was a HUGE difference in the way it shifted, even with old and cheap Grip Shifts.

Received a Deore 7-speed hub yesterday, NOS from Taiwan...looks brand new.

Dang, there's some mighty fine object's of desire postings. I might get banned after presenting this fine specimen for the Cheapnelli.

Found this at the same Goodwill where I picked up the $9 Schwinn and a $9.95 Raleigh Twenty. This cost a buckaroo. Just couldn't pass it up. Might be my new 'gagster' laugh along. Thinking of sneaky mounting to a carbon framed Felt at my bud's LBS. LOL

Love the Taylor Mondrian decals. And they had the BEST Reynolds decals, with the model name printed right on the decal.

The beautiful non-straight leg design got me really interested. That could really match up well with my Alan Carbonio if I ever get bored with its aluminum fork....A couple of Alan decals on it and it will be instantly original/stock looking to the bike....

Thanks a bunch. I thought I was just going TO BE ON A medical or personal leave status for a year but they are giving me the boot. I think I'll have just enough time to qualify for a bonus if I go back.

Wool shorts. Why so excited about wool shorts? They are to wear when I go to Tuscany to ride L'Eroica next October!

Just picked this up from the original owner. All original down to the handlebar tape sans clincher conversion.

Owner said he bought it in 1972 and serial confirms this by starting with a 'G' The Capella lugs and Raleigh logo point to '73, however. Must have been a late model.
