Hello from Chi-town
Hi everyone. I came to this form mainly to ask few questions for my next build. And show my retro resto-mod. Where can i post the resto mod thread?
Here is an interesting story from me: Born 1990 my first bike bmx - rode untill 2000 and my second bike - Bulgarian (eastern europe) bike brand "Sprint" I rode it for 4 years non stop and had very old speedometer. Wake up at 7am and ride. Had around 5000km for 1 summer. Never ever had any helmet or anything to protect me. One time i fell and hit my head..then recovered fine. I fell because on pedal stroke sometimes it was skipping and my foot slipped. So after that i wanted to figure why is it skipping. Is it derailleur adjustment or something. I found out the smallest cog on the back (3x7 speed) was kind of rounded. LOL the teeth were looooooong gone and the chain just coudnt grip any more. I never believed in bike maintenance. Later i started realizing that and put many new parts.
Now i have 2 bikes - 2003 specialized Epic and 2011 Specialized Crux expert
Thanks

Welcome, good to see someone from Chicago. I am from Rockford but have lived in Delaware for more than 40 years. A lot to do and see in Chi-town.

Please don't (spam) - in fact that's a lot of what the point of the 10 post rule is - to prevent people from spamming porn or advertisements. Take some time and welcome other new users, or share more about yourself!
