Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Or maybe it doesn't say Matrix. I can't find the "Enhance" button.
It said Matrix and TruTemper (behind my knee) and being the Trek team frame for sponsorships that year, the logos came on it. I hated those frames. They sent me a 54 cm which was too big and a 52 cm that was too small. Rode like a brick.

I had Matrix training wheels but my racing wheels were tubulars, always tubulars as clinchers had yet to come close at that time for performance.

I had a Rhode Gear cloth covered helmet in those days. I still pick up Rhode Gear products when I find them. My number one mirror is one of theirs

I began re-assembling the '84 Letour Luxe coupled bike which I dis-assembled two years ago for a repaint. Repainting was done last week. I plan to do a couple short tours on it next summer.

I'm thinking I might even use new bearings in the bb.

Now she can go to the oldest University west of the Alleghenies. The mighty University of Pittsburgh founded in 1787 as Western University. You can look it up.

I'm trying to buy a new phone for my wife for Christmas. Sorting out the fees (activation? upgrade? in-store? online? can I just swap the damn SIM?) is dumb.
