Very interesting review, thanks for sharing , it is more a match of the older aluminium carbon 2300slr bonded frame but not a match to the OCLV 5200 nor 5500

Man, these articles remind me about how Mongoose and others were pushing hard to be a strong player in the quality bike market back in the day.
Wonder what company manufactured these bonded frames. The article said these were the first from that company to hit US shores, so it was different from the manufacturers that were working with other brands on bonded carbon frames.

It’s too bad all Mongoose bikes are now department store quality. Like many other brands that were bought for their name only to be downgraded in quality.

I'd missed that! I've had a couple later all aluminum Goose roadies, and they didn't have it.
