Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I think apadravya is one of the stupidest things one could do to himself, apart from suicide. I see 0 upside and a long list of downsides to it.

Just popped back in to tell you that my wife is breastfeeding, and that milk does indeed come out of nipple piercing holes. Just in case you were wondering.

Then you really, really shouldn't look at the pictures of people castrating themselves with vet equipment which cuts off circulation. mmm... dry gangrene.

On the upside, those folks might subsequently have fewer probems with bicycle seats.

I'm sure you like to think so. After all, wouldn't you feel really stupid if it turned out that it doesn't make a bit of a difference to your girlfriend, one way or the other, and that you have permanently defiled your body and put your (and your partners, btw.) health in harm's way for no good reason at all?

Jeezus. Some people aren't fond of extra holes.

But anyway, mine are above the neck and I'm rocking the silicone kaos and they're damn comfy. Dunno if it would help you out, but it's worth trying.

i've been outed! my peepee has already begun falling off, it's true. how'd you guess?

okay, now for a serious reply:

1) i didn't do it for anyone but myself. if someone tells me it doesn't make a difference to them, oh well! life goes on.

2) permanently defiled my body? uh...

3) my health? my partner's health? are you flippin' serious? have you not heard of these things called condoms? or are they evil too

---------------

back on topic, i'm picking up a new saddle today so we'll see how much that helps.

that about sums it up....

not having a penis, i have no sound advice for the OP, but i will add my sympathy because while hood piercings are rad at all other times, they suck a lot when you stop abruptly...

i hope i made someone throw up with that tidbit.

p.s. pauly unstoppable (nostril guy) is actually a great person and those of you who can't and won't see that because you're too busy squealing and wretching are only cheating yourselves. thank you for the reminder of why i choose to live in a liberal urban environment.

well first off, thanks for all the replies, good and bad

i think it was a support issue as i realized that my first day on the bike was in boxers and jeans, whereas i normally wear boxer briefs and haven't really noticed any discomfort. actually today i just got back from riding about 10+ miles and completely forgot about it until getting online and seeing this thread again, heh.

n.b. i got a brooks b-17 today, i expect it'll be much better than this crappy stocker

I've never understood the concept of "too much information." I want to know everything. I can filter it myself.

BTW freebird, I have wondered whether milk comes through the piercings. I use lamotrigine (Lamictal) which has as a side effect male lactation. I haven't had that particular side effect. It would be weird and cool; I just can't decide if the coolness would outweigh the weirdness.

To each their own - people have the right to do whatever they want to their bodies. But, seriously, the only thing that 99% of people are going to see in that guy is that 50% of his nose is missing.

Hmmm.. well I would simply suggest pulling your unit so that it is facing verticle before a ride etc, make sure your jewelry is as short as possible (shouldn't restrict when having an erection) and get used to it.. Like anything else it (comfort) will come with time.
I think that the self exploration that comes with body modification is a learning process just as most everything else.
You need to find what works for you and your own body... this is part of that

Yes, that duder is quite gay and far as I know is married to his partner at this point... cannot recall.

On the subject of implants.. I have had my subdermals in my arms for over three years at this point and never had any problems..
However, this is primarily due to the procedure having been performed by the gentleman that created the process/trend. I have since seen A LOT of back alley botch jobs that are down right ****ing scary.
Go to the right practitioner or DON"T ****ING DO IT would be my suggestion.

Blahblahblah.. I'm rambling. Sorry. Wub u.
