Anyone ever warranty a Fuji?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone ever warranty a Fuji?

Wondering how difficult it is to deal with them, and what to expect?

Owner of an 06 Fuji C4 frame that is starting to show signs of stress around the BB(enamel cracking, chipping on drive side). Was planning on riding the bike until the BB separated, but noticed the life time warranty. Do I have a chance?

Fuji has a great warranty, it has to be done through an authorized dealer but it is generally pretty pain free.

Out of curiosity, why would racing void the warranty?

I work for an authorized Fuji dealer. If you raced it, YOU NEVER RACED IT. Got it? Just call a dealer, they'll probably call their rep in to come look at it. He'll call the Philly office and see what direction to go in. It's a pretty painless process.

I remember you posting about that ordeal. The OP should search out that thread. That was an interesting read.

Most of the time Fuji will trust the shop, the majority of the time they just have to send a picture to Fuji showing the crack. Like others said though, you never, ever raced it.

A few have been replaced at the local Fuji dealer here. No big problems. They sometimes send a rep to see the frame sometimes not.
