Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

oof. That's rough. Sympathies for your step-daughter. Hopefully they were squared away before he died.

I have a live feed of Vuelta al Pais Vasco sans commentary. It's the GCN feed that GCN is not allowed to broadcast into my country. It's a start. And more importantly, it's still weeks out from the Giro.

I have that bag in that color, with a blood stain on it. I leaned into a curve with loose sand in it.

Looks awesome. If the main color was blue, the paint scheme would be almost identical to my cervelo.

I really hope I am better by thursday so I don’t miss anymore work, but realistically I don’t think that is going to happen. Will have to call the chief tomorrow to let him no what’s going on.

Im at a loss. I don’t remember the last time I was sick but I don’t think I have ever been sick this long.

Yesterday I felt okay but my head was still super congested and the cough was really bad. Today the fatigue came back.
Ugggh. Hope you all get well soon.

Registered in Wilmington Delaware, home of the Concord Raiders. Wonder if that ship has ever been there.

Well it's a treat to be watching live cycling again. It's been a couple years or so. Unfortunately, I have to put it down and go to the city before it gets too hot. Tomorrow though. And I now have English commentary!

Thanks guys. The orange color didn't photograph well in the bright sunlight. It really lit up much more than expected.
I'll ditch the Cannondale duffle bag for something smaller after I get it sorted and don't need to carry so much crap.

Maybe it was a counterfeit chain?

I think it’s his quadzilla like power he is throwing down.

Thankfully I don’t have to worry about that problem.

Does it shift weird on any one cassette? I would think a bent tooth would cause the chain to make noise or something.

No- that’s what’s really odd. It runs quietly on every cog. I get some creaking on the small ring under. Lot of load, but I think that may be the BB

No matter what you find the cause to be, I'd stick with "overloaded the chain's capacity for power input" as the cause.
