Yes they are staying the only thing I might swap out are the stem and bars as they are French Atax but they will do for now. Seems to ride ok but only done a few miles on it, it's a little small for me but still rolls well. Not noticed any of the flex everyone talks about but not really pushed it that much. Best thing is no one has got one or even seen one around here.

My 88 Epic sold for $500 believe it or not .. so assuming it’s nice and of course factoring in your geographical location absolutely it’s worth $150... it’s important to bear in mind condition .. mine was really nice and had a NOS Tricolor group ..

My current Carbon, (The 200 Sci is my rain bike, and also has a working powertap, (which I occasionally use just to confirm what I already know...) BTW Robbie, you answered my concerns about the paint cracks at the head tube, this was my first carbon (besides my fishing rods),and had some wear on it. I was a bit leery, but you were spot on. Clearly non-structural as was clear after some judicious sanding. At the time, I had zero experience, just lots of scary stories.
Time to change the FD on the 500.

Last edited by Last ride 76; 12-28-19 at 01:00 PM. Reason: Noticed the SR FD. Have had more appropriate one for a while...

Then I will continue to look for the "just right" 54cm, knowing you may be interested in the 56. No pressure.

Thanks, that's perfect. You're also motivating me to sell the "unridden and under-loved" bikes and equipment that my eyes sometimes pass over, to make space physically and financially!
