Cast vs CNC Replaceable Derailleur hanger
Hi There,
I'm doing a school project and would really appreciate your help. I am doing a poll and would like to know for those using a replaceable derailleur hanger/frame saver if you are using a Cast, cold-forged or CNC hanger.
Many thanks in advance

Pretty sure mine is cast, based on the way it looks - my assumption is that CNC parts generally have sharper edges and machining marks, while mine has no machining marks and has rounded edges.
Also, it is off a fairly inexpensive Taiwanese mass-produced bike, and I assume cast hangers would be used to keep costs down.
