I started riding again at age 50. This time, off road. That was 2011. I began using Endomondo in July 2011. I logged my 1,000th ride recently. 13,718 mi. Some hate technology. I love it. I track with my phone in a bag. I use a non-gps Cateye for speed and distance. I realize many have more impressive stats, but I doubt they had more fun than me!

I love it! (that you did a 1000 rides, not technology... I hate that.)

I am in awe of your steadfast use of technology to keep track of your riding. I went the other way, myself, and disabled the calendar function of my phone. Seriously, congratulations on riding so many miles. It's a mighty big number. It makes me want to ride more, and I don't even know how much I have ridden. You're a sly one to appeal to those of us who always want to catch up to a cyclist we see off in the distance.
