Shifter cable pinch bolt making me crazy

Im working on a front derailleur and can not figure out the routing of cable to pinch bolt. Its driving me crazy, 2 days of tinkering, and searching. I found part breakdown, install instruction from Shimano. But, does not show exactly how this cable is getting there. Shimano Nexave FD-T301bottom pull. Mainly its the combination of the little parts that has me puzzled. Anyone know or can help? See pics.

Do I go under the little plate thingy?

Do I go under the bolt? But whats all the other stuff for then?

The 1st little part is what throws me off. What does it do with the cable if anything?

Here is a pic without the little parts.

Chose door #1 . I use a pair of needle nose pliers to pull the cable tight while tightening the anchor bolt. Andy

The way shown in your first picture looks right to me.

I agree with the other posters. Looks like you've got everything correct. Have you had problems shifting with this cable routing?

Another clue is there is usually a groove on the underside of the fixing plate to hold the cable. Make sure you have the plate oriented per the diagram and then run the cable along the groove.
