Air looked much cleaner today. Headed up into the mountains. I don't mind climbing for 15-20 minutes, but when it turns into hours, I would really rather not. 40 miles.

Rainy the last couple of days in central Indiana but had a window of opportunity after work yesterday evening. Was able to ride 9 miles with a few sprinkles. Poured down less than an hour later.

Just got home from a nice 29.5 mile ride out to Capital One's big business complex, West Creek Pkwy (2 laps) horseshoe shaped roadway, etc... and eventually back home. 1 hr and 57 min for a nice easy 15 mph speed. Man, I tell you... There were some crazy people inside the quiet business road of West Creek Pkwy - some dudes had those time-trial aerodynamic style bikes and were zooming along at like 40-45 mph! No matter what chainring you were one, those guys would blow by you like you were standing still!
Here is Hockett Rd & Tuckahoe Creek Pkwy (which leads into Capital One huge area, and also down into West Creek Pkwy).
Here is a shot of Virginia Farm Bureau's big building by the twin duck ponds inside West Creek Pkwy. I stopped to sip by other water bottle (thank God I brought two of them!).
Lastly, here is the route from Map My Ride...

I got out early this morning on a cloudy, warm and very humid day to beat the rain. Got in 100 minutes.

I've been riding my '54 Schwinn Hornet Darla for the last three days...I don't know or care how far, the ride is just so sweet.

No. Was planning on it being my long ride day this week. We had a raccoon party at 2 . After being up the rest of the night, called it off for the day! Just didn’t have it in me...

22 miles Sunday afternoon/evening. First outdoor ride in two weeks, although I've used the indoor trainer. No energy, one of my slowest rides of the year on this familiar route, but it was good to get outside.

I took Saturday off to hang around the house with Mrs. Mag. She had a little medical procedure done and the only way I was going to get to take it easy was to stay home. Went out and got 85 miles in before the weather turned sour once again.

28 miles yesterday and 20 miles today.
Intended to go farther today but had to cut it short due to the jet stream blowing the smoke in from Colorado.

Stopped for a few days in Santa FE NM and decided to ride. Very hard & hot 15 miles! Can't wait to ride in CO with 70 degree days.

A cold front blew through yesterday evening bringing storms, tornado warnings and lower than normal temps and humidity for the next few days.
Got in 100 minutes around Noon, trying to beat the afternoon showers.

Busy week, all of this on the 'cross bike:
- Friday, 65 mile mostly-dirt ride with the missus
- Saturday, 35 mile mostly-pavement ride (with a ~1 mile stretch of the most gnarly, hellaciously rocky & muddy off-road I think I will ever attempt on a 'cross bike) with the missus
- Sunday, 25 mile solo ride
- Monday, didn't ride
- Tuesday, 22 mile 6-man group ride...fast!
- Today, 13 mile ride just tagging along with the missus while she did her proscribed interval workout
- Friday, 65 mile mostly-dirt ride with the missus
