Bar tape and end plugs

Hi all,

I recently lost a chrome bar end plug - I believe to be bike ribbon.

I checked out bike ribbons website and indeed the tape matches but no images of the chrome plugs so I'm not 100%.

(matched tape: https://www.bikeribbon.com/product/professional/ )

I have black plastic ones in place and they look horrible.

Any thoughts on where to get a nice vintage look?

Thanks!

These are the only bar plugs I use these days - Velox preferred but CatEye works also. They look the vintage part, are very sturdy, protective and never fall out. Available on Ebay quite often, in fact lots right now, even a nice set of yellow ones.,.

Excellent taping job on those bars. Your tires, however, make me laugh.

Another vote from me for VELOX plugs.

Aluminum screw-type plugs can be had for a couple of bucks on ebay. Much harder to lose and they don't look awful. I also have a bag of dozens of the plastic ones.

I was going to replace the tire at some point but they were basically new when I got the bike - over time they grew on me and now I feel like a real flamboyant racer 😘

OK! I've been planning it for awhile but never wanted to dish out money. I'm not sure what direction to go in however...

Also I'm going with the Velox bar ends - they look good.

I'd like to do a full overall really.

I’ve used these on all my builds, works with even the thicker tapes, and they stand up to pounding on, with a rubber mallet. Tim
