I was only actually carrying 100 pounds of kids, a bag of diapers, snacks and tools as well as whatever stuff was frozen to the bottom of the bin.
We were on our way to the pool for a swim.

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
Grocery day... 6 panniers filled to overflowing and a little extra strapped to the rack.
Guessing it was about 100 pounds (lots of beans and rice) which really helps with traction in the snow.

Hello all, new here to this forum.
Here's my grocery day rig,
I've hauled over 150lbs several times with this waggon, but my usual weekly grocery run is closer to 100lbs or so. One time I weighed everything with a luggage scale and it added up to 165lbs + miscellany (wagon itself is about 27lbs) and then the Toddler's Chariot was hitched in between on that day, train-style :-) (usually I do groceries alone) I figured everything together, including myself and the little one, we weighed 447.1lbs [203kg] +clothing. It's just amazing what you can haul on a bike, and how easily it all rolls along :-)
I'm currently building a bigger trailer, but I can post how I made this trailer. It was quite simple to put together and works really well based on a pre-2003 Chariot chassis. Which is a good thread to put that on?
Great to see so many creative and interesting designs here, and so many winterbikers too :-)

First big grocery run
I made my first big grocery run today. I brought the cooler for all the cold stuff. Once again the Surly Big Dummy handled it nicely.

Nice, bugly! You've been having fun with your new new horse, haven't you. Thanks for sharing.
Bike haul. Spring cleaning. Finally managed to get my cracked Marin back to the store. The bike path between here and there was under snow for a long time and under water after that. In front of an early flowering tree for a little springtime stoke.
Oh yeah, there's laundry in the bin. I need to combine trips these days to save fuel.

We're kicking off our Bike to Work Challenge in the morning and have water bottles to pass out. I have to get 200 down to the kick off event. About 75-80 between the baskets and trailer. I have 2 people meeting up with me tomorrow to help with the other 120.

You can post about your trailer in the post your trailer thread or preferably start a thread about your trailer construction and put a link to the new thread in the post your trailer thread. That way more people will see it.
