I'd rather see Klein's make a comeback.

I never cared for him and would never buy anything he endorses or sells.

I have a Lemond steel bike and it was a different geometry. Quite frankly, I like it alot and feels very comfortable. I don't know if there are bikes in that same geometry anymore selling for less than $800.00 dollars.

He's going to be selling frames made by Kinesis with the geometry made to his specifications, with the usual hardware bolted on from Shimano or Campagnolo, and finally branded with Lemond all across the toptube, once again joining rank and file with people like Cipollini the pornstar. Lemond wasn't even a innovator in this field, retired cyclists have been tacking on their last names to bikes way before he did.

Lemond Spine Design

Some of his bikes were made of two materials. In my case my bike was carbon spine with a lower base made of aluminum. Some were carbon spine with ti base. Picture pretty much explains it all but it interested, a google search of Lemond Spine Design will go into more details.

Top carbon section looks like a spine. Lower section looks like ti in this pic.
