Dahon Eco C7
Dahon Eco C7 folding bike. My daily rider. Commuter Bike.
I've swapped some stuff around...
-Axa bottle generator dynamo powering a no name rear red tail light and a Busch & Muller headlight.
-20x2 inch Schwalbe Big Apple tires give a cushy ride.
-I replaced the woefully inadequate stock kickstand with a bipod design. Really helps make my life easier.
-Burley bike cargo trailer hitch.
-Swapped out the stock freewheel rim to a wheel with a cassette. Lowered to an 11 tooth. Still 7 gears at the moment, but may change things around.
-BioLogic seat post pump. Awesome.
-Velo Orange leather saddle.
-I use standard flat pedals. On the rare occasions I need to remove the pedals, I carry a wrench. Life's too short for flexy pedals.
-The rear rack was an addition. I also have the Dahon Front Luggage Rack, but haven't installed it yet.
I've put hundreds of miles on this bike in the last year and a half or so, and still really like it, but am thinking about getting another folder. Not that I don't love/need this one, just want something different. An addition to the stable.

Decided to add a pie plate
Because, why not. I put on the biggest one they had at the co-op.

Pie plate: I was actually gonna suggest that, based on your earlier pictures. I'd taken off my other bikes, for style, but then added to my Dahon after the chain, only once, jumped off the big cog and into the spokes, tearing up a couple just enough that they eventually broke. Found a disc and put it on (bike shop stocked them, now they don't). "A properly adjusted derailleur will prevent that." Not always. May have been a bump. May have been because it was the original "compact" Dahon derailleur, had always been problematic, especially shifting onto the largest cog, which was the biggest jump. New derailleur (conventional style) fixed that. I prefer the dork discs that are clear plastic and minimal size, but you go buddy, rockin' that 70s vibe!
That Eco monostay rear frame is nice for a belt drive, you don't need a frame that comes apart in the rear triangle somehow, however you need some sort of belt tensioner, unless it has a frame with horizontal dropouts that allow tensioning a belt or chain, like the bikes with internal gear hubs have.
