Fenders (mudguards) for 20 inch wheels
I recently purchased a brand spankin' new BikeFriday Diamond Llama.
I opted for drop bars, rim brakes and double crankset, 18 spd with the fat boy option.
Overall I am pleased with the purchase, except for the machine built wheels and junk hubs, which I promptly replaced.
Their option for fenders are those "snap on" blade types.
Having lived in the Puget Sound area for 20+ years I am a huge proponent of proper fenders.
I have more than a passing amount of experience of successfully mounting aluminum fenders and plastic SKS fenders.
After a lot of searching it seems everybody is out of stock.
The only fenders I have found with stays (that might be considered high endish, the "good stuff", sorta) are the SKS/Bluemel B60 (60mm).
They are ok but the connection between the stays and the fenders are a little plastic clip. I hate little plastic clips.
Once you connect the stays to the fenders that is it, they are (seemingly) permanently attached.
I tried to remove the stay for the fender and broke the little plastic clip.
So the question: anyone know of any high quality 20 inch fenders (that don't have the plastic clip for stay attachment) that I might have missed.
thanks in advance
Larry

Dunno if this will help. When I bought my Swift Folder - almost 20 years ago - I added Planet Bike fenders / mud guards. They worked well. That includes both riding the bike in foul weather as well as packing and reassembling the bike.
But.
First, visiting Planet Bike's website, they're no longer offering the model I bought. I can't comment on what's currently on offer, and
Second, Planet Bike's site leaves unclear whether they'll continue to offer 20" fenders / mud guards: they're currently unavailable.
