Vintage 1981 Dahon Folding Bike Fender?

Hello, I am new to these forums, and wanted to scout around and find out if anyone out there had a vintage rear Dahon Fender that would fit a 1981-84+ that is in good shape for sale? Please let me know. I would like to make an offer on it if you are interested. Thank you!

What is the model of the DAHON? DAHON made different style bikes with different wheels. Of the DAHONs I own 3 are 16 inch wheels and 2 are 20 inch wheels. They have very different fenders. Roger

It is a a 1981 Taiwanese Dahon V with 5 speeds and 16 inch wheels. Believe the year built was 1981 I believe they used the same fender for 5 years or so. Thank you for your reply!

Emilio I believe you can find replacements on the thorusa website. The early Dahons are among my favourite bikes! You can also consider buying another complete bike for parts.

my 20 inch DAHON Fender broke. I don't need it much here in Sunny ,dry Arizona.
When we were kids we always too the fenders off all of our bikes. I guess we thought they looked better without them, UNTIL it RAINS. LOL

Thank you for the reply! I checked ThorUSA and was unfortunately unable to find a fender that would fit my bike.

I have restored/rehabed/flipped a few of the eighties Dahons. I was contacted by a gentleman in Philly who collects old mariners (he has more than Fifty, I saw the pictures!) all he wanted was my plastic fenders and chain guards. That is one of the more fragile parts. He bought all that I had, and paid generously for them sight un-seen. If your into these bikes and want it "restored" the only way is to search out donor bikes. It has to be a labor of love because un-less its a stainless Mariner these do not sell for a lot of money.

Do you still have any fenders for the 16" wheels? I bought a set a while back, got another one that needs them too.
