Which Balaclava Do You Use And Why?

What material is it made of and how much does it weigh? What temp range have you comfortably worn it in? Have you compared it to other balaclavas?

Thanks in advance.

There is a thread in progress about this. I vote to not use a balaclava:

Or on really warm days, just wear the beanie. Much more adjustable than a balaclava, especially the loose-fitting ones that tend to be sold.

Gore Windstopper material for the front half of the Balaclava, a more breathable material for the back half. (There are other wind resistant materials that would work fine of course).

I bought one that was 100% windstopper once...overheated at 15f in just a few minutes of riding. The back needs to be more permeable to let water vapor (aka sweat) out.
