BBSHD chain problem

I'm using the old chain (KMC 8spd) from my bike but the chain keeps sliding off the chainring towards the inside(bike frame) doesn't matter what gear I'm on. I'm using the factory upgraded bafang 44T chain ring. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Thanks

On my BBS02 the right crankarm was offset about 15 mm further from the frame than the left side. Maybe the BBSHD is offset too which might make the chain fall off toward the frame. A narrow-wide chainring should keep the chain from 'jumping" since it improves the chain-tooth interface. I used only three gears 11-17-28 at the extreme right end of the cassette and didn't have any problem with the stock chainring on the BBS02, but eventually changed it to a 30t narrow-wide for additional insurance.

I have one of Luna's chainrings too, and think it helps relieve the "offset". Also, eventually I replaced the crankarms with Lekkies which eliminated the crankarm to chainstay difference.

I wound up using an inside out no drop chainring after trying all the Luna options. It worked great.
