Went for a ride in my underwear

Did not realize until I got home that I was wearing a pair of liners, not shorts. Glad I did not stop to chat with the neighbours

You should see/feel the time trial suits the pros wear for the Tdf, Vuelta,Giro - Those are made of fabric that's probably a lot thinner/lighter than the cycling underwear you were wearing.

Well if you were comfortable then so be it. If you stopped by Walmart you would have been the envy of all the patrons.

That was a really old recurring dream I used to have...how did it get resolved? Heck if I recall.

At least they don't fit backwards.

It's a good thing I wasn't drinking hot coffee when I read that, I'd have spat it all over the place.

Seattle Naked Bike Ride coming soon. Practice? Pride Parade this weekend may have a few naked bike riders, temperature/weather dependent. They would even stop to talk with you.

Instead of your attire, maybe you just need to relocate away from Golden Horseshoe, Wherever. (golf resort, Williamsburg, VA???)

I've heard the story of one local rider who went on a club ride and everyone kept snickering and he couldn't figure out why. Finally, he figured out that he had his bike shorts on inside out, complete with skid mark.

Did you leave any skid marks during your ride?

About a half-mile into a race last weekend, I pulled up behind another rider and informed him that his bib straps were hanging down - he had forgotten to put them over his shoulders before putting on his jersey and mounting his bike. They were just hanging down behind his saddle. "I wish someone had told me that," was his reply. I didn't point out that, in fact, someone was telling him.

Silver lining = clean side in

without photos you might be able to live that down.
