Good to be back on my bike

It felt really good to be back on my bike the last two days. I had to take 12 days off due to the recurrence of my spinal stenosis. The pain has not been as extreme the last two days and I can walk a bit further so thought it would be worth the risk getting back on the bike. It's amazing that there is no pain at all when I am on the bike but as soon as I get off I hurt. My body is in the perfect position when I ride; seated and bent forward. I got out for 30 minutes yesterday and and hour this morning.

I have found that to be true with sciatic pain as long as I was riding my road bike and not my hybrid. It is a good stretch and the pedaling makes the blood flow and hopefully help the body heal itself.
I wish you luck with your back.
