The Future Is Here

I'm not a racer but I am interested in technology. The racers no doubt know already about ceramics and other innovations currently being applied to top level racing but I found the GCN video interesting. And who knows, these innovations eventually make their way down stream.

Go to the Ceramic Speed site, check out the prices and then tell me if you're still interested.

YAB. I took out a personal loan from my bank to get 2 of those $700 derailleur wheels.
Then parked and locked my bike..... thieves stole the idler and jockey wheels...... left the bike.

The prices are stupid. Until I get tapped to join a TdF team I'm not interested.

I've read many, many articles that show that the gains from ceramic bearings aren't realized until you reach some very high RPMs. While there may be gains for wheel and bottom bracket bearings, those gains are very, very small.

I'll save my money.

There is a time and a place for everything and that includes using percentages. On a scale of 100, 2 is twice as much as 1 but 2 still isn't very much.
