Folded a rear wheel today.
Oh k so i didnt really taco it, but 3 spokes stripped out with a love ploink ploink ploink. Luckily my new spinergy wheels will be in next week and ill be a happy happy boy.

tried to bunny hop a bothole i didnt see and didnt quite make it. I was having problems with spokes coming loose ecery other day before this.

Wow, someone for me to comiserate with. I haven't gone down yet, but I have been spending tons of cash trying to get my bike to fit me right and replacing parts that are breaking because the previous owner didn't treat it very well. Hope you like your new wheels better.

At this point, your only real sure thing is to re-build the wheel with all new spokes. And have them tensioned towards the high-end of the range. Depending upon how far of the rim is, you might need a new one of those too...

Well, the bunny-hop was probably the last straw, but the spokes were on their last legs anyway. Loose spokes puts a lot of stress on a few spokes at a time as the wheel turns, rather than all of them at once. So they undergo zero tension up to super-high tension, then back down to tension again. This wears them out due to fatigue very quickly and they're be prone to snapping. The jump and impact was the last bit of load needed to snap them.
At this point, your only real sure thing is to re-build the wheel with all new spokes. And have them tensioned towards the high-end of the range. Depending upon how far of the rim is, you might need a new one of those too...
