Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Haven't fully decided yet, I'm tempted by grabbing some pre built ones off velomine but might go crabon rims/DA hubs. It all just depends on how loose I can be with money.

OK, nothing new here, but since this is a new thread, I might as well re-post some of my favorites.

@TejanoTrackie out of curiosity, how tall are you? Most of your bikes look like small frames with low saddles.

Nice stable. I like the dolan in red.

Pista Dalmine and Kilo TT

My single speeds.

Replaced the chain and seat on the Dalmine. Not a fan of bianchi blue. Bought it secondhand, so those handlebars came with bike.

Kilo TT bought as frame. First time "bike build" and learning experience.

It's approx 57cm (used a tape measure). Funny thing it's pretty much the same size as the 52cm kilo below.

Not that it should be off by that much but did you measure center to center?

Whoops, sorry, I should've clarified standover height. They're both around 31.5" or 800mm. The measurements from the seat tube are correct. I almost meant 53cm

I'm looking for a 57. I got all excited there for a minute. Was gonna say if you're ever looking to sell it, I'm your guy...

Haha gotcha. Sorry to flood up this thread with this, last comment on this topic.

Sent you a PM, not selling now, but not ruling it out. Only because I've only rode this bike for a couple of miles. I want to give it the "commute to work" test. Thanks!
